Our Top 5 Dog Friendly Cafés/ Restaurants in Hong Kong.

You may have noticed an ongoing theme with our Buddy Bites Insights over the last few weeks. With restrictions on restaurants easing, we wanted to let you guys know the spots around Hong Kong that get our tails wagging. Whether it a nice coffee, cocktail or dinner, the presence of dogs always makes things better. So here are our favourite dog-friendly spots!

Blend & Grind

Blend and Grind’s café s in Mid-Levels and Sun Street are about as welcoming as you could hope for. Great coffee, friendly service and conveyer belt of cute dogs wandering in and out, there are few better places to take a book and your Buddy. With water bowls, and even treats on offer from our friends at Baking Bark, Blend & Grind is as much a coffee shop for your pup as it is for you. If you are lucky you might even spot the owners two rescues (Derek and Matilda).

Hooman

If you haven’t been to West Kowloon Cultural Park yet, get it in the diary. It is a perfect spot for an evening stroll with your Buddy. Whilst there are a number of good dog-friendly spots here, Hooman café takes the cake. This American style ‘Haute Dog’ shop offers a great selection of snacks, healthy drinks and coffee. Most importantly of course, Hooman and West Kowloon Cultural park has become a hot spot for cute dogs. Between doggos and the Harbour view, get your phone at the ready, this place is primed for Instagram

Hooman by the Sea, GF-07, Art Park, West Kowloon Cultural District, West Kowloon, +852 6749 0777

Sip Song

Whilst the beach may not allow dogs, The Pulse at Repulse Bay still provides a great spot to take your Buddy at the weekend, with a number of great food and drink options. Sip Song’s recent addition of a dog-friendly menu including peanut butter biscuits stole our hearts immediately, and secured their spot on this list, no questions asked! The human food and drink is great, also, but that is just background noise. Woof!

Winstons Coffee

Both the Kennedy Town and Sai Ying Pun Winstons venues are a heap of fun for coffee, and/or something stronger. With great coffee, cocktails, giant Jenga and teeming with dogs, this is a spot for all. Thursday’s toss the boss, where you flip a coin for whether you pay for the round or it’s on the house is a crowd favorite.

Stazione Novella

‘Staz’ on Staunton Street is a great little Florence inspired al fresco spot for humans and dogs alike. Offering some great happy hours, and even some treats for hungry pups. As with most of Black Sheep’s venues, service and food is superb. Head on down with your Buddy for an Aperol or five.
