Our Story

We know what you are thinking, 'why did these people start a dog food brand', and as importantly, 'why am I reading about it.' The first part is simple. We knew first hand the challenge of getting truly good quality dog food, consistently. We also knew the challenges that dog shelters go through. So, we created Buddy Bites to fix both these issues...To ensure Nacho and Nala (Chris' dogs) could eat food their guts deserve, whilst feeding their friends in shelters with every order. As to why you are reading it, we are not sure, but we certainly hope it's because you have a dog, and even more so that you're going to join the many pups moving to Buddy Bites!

Catherine's Puppies rescues dogs to their Sai Kung based shelter to provide the best possible care whilst looking for potential adopters.

CAS sg Limited is an animal welfare charity set up to support the needs of local animal welfare in Singapore. We employ programs and policies to promote best practice, ethical, sustainable and compassionate treatment of these animals. 

HKDR EST. 2003 saves dogs from HK Govs AFCD Animal Management Centers to care for and re-home more than 10,000 dogs.

HKSCDA is a non-profit organization from 2007 committed to providing food, medical care, sterilization and adoption services for stray cats and dogs, advocating against animal abuse.

Love Fluffy Home deals with all aspects of animal welfare and protection of animal rights. First established by a group of volunteers in 2018, they aim to re-home and care of animals in need.

The shelter founded by 64-year-old, Chaya Koi Kim, aka Madam Wong, is a sanctuary for ‘unwanted’ felines and canines providing care, compassion and hope.

Paws Guardian Rescue Shelter, based in Yuen Long homes 150 dogs taken care by their fantastic group of volunteers, and funded purely through donations.

Funded by donations from local individuals and companies, SKDF runs a HK volunteer group that rescue abandoned, sick, injured and stray dogs.

Currently caring for 200 dogs at The Animal Lodge and Jurong Island shelter, SOSD advocates for the strays, while assisting in managing the integration and acceptance of mongrels in Singapore.

Volunteer-run small animal rescue charity in South Lantau providing rescue, shelter, medical attention, fostering, and rehoming services to animals in need.

Villa Kunterbunt, meaning House of Variety in German is a Lantau based shelter that rescues and rehomes dogs of all breeds, ages and health concerns.

We partner closely with certified pet nutritionists, as well as Hong Kong based vets to formulate nutritious recipes packed with only the ingredients your pup needs.

All our recipes are made in Europe with premium ingredients, and tested beyond AAFCO standards.

It's amazing how much of our job involves talking about poo. We include gut-friendly prebiotics in all our recipes to make sure your dogs gut gets looked after. Consistent poos starts with consistent dog food.
